Widowed by Choice

Winnie's husband John faked his death in a skiing accident and went missing for three months. He secretly stayed with his friend Nancy and even planned to tease his wife who was searching for him everywhere. Heartbroken, Winnie stopped looking for him, cancelled John's identity record and insisted on holding a funeral for him. When John showed up in a hurry at the funeral and tried to make excuses, Winnie played videos proving his affair and illegal entry into their house, leaving him utterly embarrassed. With Harvey's help, Winnie finalized the divorce and got rid of the toxic marriage. Refusing to give up, John pestered Winnie repeatedly to get back together but was rejected every time. Later, John repeated his old trick and disappeared again, enraging Nancy. The two fell out and tormented each other ever after. Letting go of the past completely, Winnie fell in love with Harvey, who had always cared for her silently, and started a brand new happy life together.
