The Daughter They Threw Away

True heiress Adira was taken back to the Codd family at eight, yet she was neglected for eight years and forced to live in the guest room. When Jocelyn, the fake daughter who ran away eight years prior, returned home, Adira's mother shoved the pregnant Adira aside to embrace Jocelyn. Her husband Marcus confessed their marriage certificate was fake and planned to take her baby for Jocelyn to raise. Heartbroken, Adira signed a severance agreement and left for New York, where she gave birth to her daughter and gained a loving new family with the Gregors. Jocelyn fell deep into gambling debts and mortgaged the family’s assets, pushing both clans to bankruptcy. Adira's mother and Marcus traveled to New York, begging her to return and save the business, but she firmly refused. Later, during a money quarrel, Jocelyn accidentally killed her mother. She hunted Adira down with a knife, and Marcus sacrificed himself to shield her before dying with an apology. With the villain arrested, Adira cut all ties with her painful past and embraced her peaceful new life.
