The Crown She Couldn’t Steal

First life, frost mermaid Sophia braved an inferno to save the Ember Prince, bore him five heirs, and became a legend across the seven seas—only to be poisoned by her jealous adoptive sister, Alexandra, losing both her life and her youngest child. Reborn on the day of the Sacred Bonding Rite, Sophia refuses to repeat her tragic fate. When the equally reborn Alexandra steals the prince and the glorious future she believes belongs to Sophia, Sophia simply walks away. But after her clan brands her a worthless outcast and offers her to Caspian, the mysterious Sovereign of the Abyss, she discovers that the most feared ruler beneath the sea has already recognized the ancient power sleeping in her blood. Protected and cherished by Caspian, Sophia begins to awaken as the last heir of a forgotten frost lineage. Meanwhile, Alexandra’s stolen marriage races toward a devastating reckoning.
