The Beggar King

Core Highlight The younger sister steals her elder sister’s wealthy arranged marriage, unaware her supposed homeless fiancé is a hidden billionaire heir. At a glittering Upper East Side charity gala, twin sisters Elena and Chloe take part in a ritual where wreaths decide their fiances. Jealous of Elena’s inheritance, Chloe secretly swaps their wreaths and dumps Elena’s onto a ragged drifter named Marcus, humiliating her sister in front of elite society. Unknown to everyone, Marcus is the hidden Rothschild heir ruling most global shipping, laying low to escape fake high-society life. Moved by Elena’s quiet dignity amid disgrace, he signs a three-month contract marriage to help her take back what Chloe stole. While Chloe greedily drains Elena’s funds and status, Marcus lurks in plain sight as a homeless man, secretly leveraging his power to fuel Elena’s rise. At the Rothschild annual banquet, he unveils his true identity and claims Elena as his wife, shattering Chloe completely. But once their contract ends, Elena serves divorce papers—she’s built her own thriving brand alone. Devastated, Marcus sets out to win back the self-sufficient woman he truly loves.
