At 27, Eleanor Sinclair was once a promising top-tier postgraduate. She gave up her bright future for love and spent seven years as a devoted housewife, believing she had a happy family. However, her perfect life collapsed overnight when she caught her husband Mark Sterling with their son and his mistress Catherine, living like a blissful family. Betrayal turned cruel and deadly. When Eleanor suffered a miscarriage, Mark chose indifference and refused to save her. Catherine joined in harming her, while Mark’s aunt Margaret, a hospital head nurse, directly caused the death of her unborn child and forced her to sign divorce papers, leaving Eleanor devastated and desperate. Yet fate favored the broken woman. The elderly man Eleanor saved casually turned out to be Richard Blackwood, founder of the top-tier Blackwood Corporation. Grateful for her kindness, Richard named Eleanor the largest shareholder and heir of his group and arranged her engagement to his grandson Nathaniel Blackwood, the cold and wealthy elite. From a abandoned wife to a powerful female tycoon overnight, Eleanor faced public humiliation from Mark and Catherine, who mocked her for climbing the social ladder. Deputy General Manager Clayton also looked down on her and tried to drive her out. They soon learned her true identity as the new chairperson. The greedy Clayton attempted a power coup by acquiring shares and framing Eleanor for forgery and murder. In fact, Richard was alive all along, and everything was a trap to expose the villains. In the end, Clayton was arrested for attempted murder. Mark and Catherine fell from grace and were banned from the upper circle forever. Standing on the pinnacle of success, Eleanor embraced her new life, with Nathaniel proposing to her sincerely. She finally ruled the huge business empire with absolute dominance.
