Journey to the West: The Return of the Golden Cicada

On the day of Ling Mountain's success, Tang Seng was tragically backstabbed by the Tathagata and killed! A fragment of his lingering soul, filled with immense hatred, was reborn on the eve of the pilgrimage, awakening a system to defy fate. He finally saw through the pilgrimage to the West as a shocking scheme by the Tathagata to harvest faith and control the three realms. Shedding his facade of compassion, he transformed into a cunning strategist, subduing the rebellious Sun Wukong, turning the undercover Zhu Bajie, reorganizing Sha Monk, and training the pilgrimage team into instruments of revenge. Pretending to journey west, they secretly ally with Taoism and recruit demon kings, breaking traps and counterattacking along the way, ultimately leading an army to the Great Thunder Sound Monastery, punishing all Buddhas, and reshaping the order of the three realms!
