Deadland Chronicles

When a mysterious mutation transforms ordinary people into flesh-eating monsters overnight, privileged socialite Sloane Harper watches her billion-dollar world collapse in hours. Her fiancé turns. Her penthouse falls. Her designer heels become weapons. Rescued by Kael—a ruthless, immaculately dressed survivalist with zero tolerance for weakness—Sloane endures a brutal education in killing, fortification, and moral compromise. Together they battle not only the evolving horde but Luther, a sadistic warlord waging territorial war with weaponized infected and poisoned ammunition. As military strongholds crumble and allies die in the dirt, Sloane transforms from sheltered heiress into a cold, calculated killer. She topples Luther's kingdom in a bloody siege, only to discover that Des Moines—where her wealthy parents sheltered behind quarantine walls—has been breached by a mysterious faction more dangerous than any warlord. The dead are evolving. The living are fracturing. Now Sloane must charge into a burning city to rescue the family she lost, or die as the lethal weapon this apocalypse forged her to become.
